Code for Japan Summit has been held every fall since 2014. It is one of the largest civic tech conferences in Japan.

Until 2019, we have held the conference in Kobe, Niigata, Chiba, Yokohama, Tokyo, etc. in cooperation with civic tech communities (Brigade) around Japan; in 2020 and 2021, due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection, we switched to an entirely online format and held the conference twice, and in 2022, we held a hybrid format of offline and In 2022, we held a hybrid format of an online event and a watch party so that we could combine the best of both offline and online.

In 2023, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Code for Japan & the 10th anniversary of the Code for Japan Summit, we have decided to revive the face-to-face venue and hold the event at the Tokyo venue, Let's think together and create opportunities to meet and learn from each other while sharing our civic tech activities!
