Honest Reflections Painting Show

In the second solo show of HRSWstudios, the artist explores the various human interactions between the self and the other, in moments of love, jealousy, and pain. Held in the colder darker months of the year in December, a time of reflection and renewal, the works in this exhibition are deep internal reflections of the external world. Painted in the signature palette of brightly colored hues, the figures continue to materialize as part human, and part other, symbolizing the queer body, the body that straddles ethnicities, and the amalgam of experiences that this mixed identity spawns.
