A meetup event “ The Networking Day ” hosted by Startup Calendar will be held on May 16th (Thursday)!
✌️What is "The Networking Day"?
The Networking Day is a meetup event for entrepreneurs and investors (VC, CVC, investment departments of business companies). We will set a theme for each event and invite guests from VC, CVC, and business companies that are primarily invested in that area, providing a place for networking.
This time, the title is ``VC that actively invests in the consumer field'', and we will have guests Mr. Shimada from Green Ventures, Mr. Fujiwara from MIXI, and Mr. Shibahara from Delight Ventures! In the first half of the event, we will set aside time for a reverse pitch and QA session, during which we will discuss each fund's investment standards and future investment policies.
Questions for the QA session will be solicited via the email sent to you upon registration.
There will be plenty of time for networking in the second half!
Entrepreneurs and CxOs who are developing businesses in the consumer domain,
and investors whose investment domain is the consumer domain (VC, CVC, investment departments of business companies) will gather and create new connections.

Responsible for seed and early stage startup investment at GREE Ventures.
He participated in the founding of GREE while attending university. After working in business development, preparations for listing, and human resource development, he was appointed CEO of a group company. Since 2017, he has been engaged in new business development and investment work, company-wide open innovation strategy planning, etc. at KDDI's Corporate Strategy Headquarters (secondment). Current position since 2020.

Responsible for startup investment, M&A, and LP investment in VC at MIXI Investment Division. Total investment amount: 33.9 billion yen (as of the end of 2023). I have actual work experience at three startups, and landed one through an M&A exit.
The main investees are Mirrativ, Empey, Studio Prairie, and one private company.The main VC investees are XTech Ventures, ANOBAKA, Femto, and one private fund.

Responsible for seed and early stage startup investment at Delight Ventures. He invests in a wide range of areas, emphasizing the potential for growth to become a unicorn. He personally focuses on sustainability-related businesses.
Prior to joining our company, he worked as a strategic consultant, where he was responsible for planning new business strategies using emerging technologies.
