Product Marketing Manager, Japan – Liquid

 

Job Description

We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to support the product marketing strategy and listing of token issuers on our platforms. You will be at the front of the growth and will have the entrepreneur mindset to create and apply an effective marketing strategy in a nascent market. You will utilize a wide range of digital marketing tools to drive awareness, lead generation and sign up of new users. You will report directly to the Chief Product Officer to report and make recommendations on the campaign spendings to ensure it aligns with the business needs. This role will suit a marketing person from a technical field with a real passion for the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. You will work cross-functionally with internal partners to understand growth objectives in order to communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibility

  • Responsible for the implementation and delivery of promotional initiatives and product launches.
  • Constantly look to improve campaign performance through developing new targeting strategies
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to execute product launches and ongoing marketing programs
  • Conceptualize effective online and offline collaterals to drive demand for the product
  • Providing support for ongoing adoption of new and existing product offerings
  • Lead on our social channel strategy, create the content to develop 3 monthly focuses as well as weekly and daily changes to the output we create.
  • Be the point of contact for the data and analytics experts who are embedded in the team and will use this data to inform the overall channel approach as it changes on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Analyze, review, and implement changes to websites so they are optimized for search engines and be able to implement actionable strategies that will improve site visibility.
  • Create and launch campaigns working closely with the Business Development team
  • Be a constant champion for social media in the business, with one eye on what our competitors are doing.

Qualifications

  • Enthusiastic, proactive self-starter, and a strong team player
  • Experience in driving consumer growth and engagement in product or marketing functions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate product positioning
  • Negotiation and issue resolution capabilities with business finance and business case development acumen
  • Proficient with the use of a variety of digital and content marketing tools
  • Knowledge of digital currencies or the FinTech ecosystem preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of marketing planning and execution work experience, preferably in tech and blockchain/crypto, B2C and B2B facing
  • Strong experience in growing and managing social media channels and communities
  • Knowledge of and passion for blockchain and cryptocurrency
  • Strong knowledge of SEO
  • Applicants must currently be based in Japan
  • Must have Native level Japanese in addition to advanced level of English language skill
