Job Description

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

The Digital Product Content Operation Senior Manager will answer almost any question related to the digital topics as digital operation expert and help driving our growing digital business. This position is crucial to account operation in conjunction with the digital sales target in each account. Main responsibility of this role is to design and manage internal operation processes and procedures that enable our sales readiness in partners' digital channels. This position will extensively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive results.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the team with ambition to drive digital business growth through operation excellence
  • Maintain consistent brand standard of front-end pages across partner’s online stores by aligning with relevant internal and external stakeholders with proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Together with cross functional teams, accelerate improvements from consumer perspective to provide consumer focused online environments consistently and proactively
  • Innovate purchase experience with partners in order to never miss a sales opportunity
  • Facilitate the collaboration with IT / Supply Chain Management(SCM) and external vendors, which are relevant to the operation process development and improvement
  • Catalog and new item set up, item maintenance
  • Lead product detail page optimization in collaboration with marketing team
  • Product master data management
  • Coordinate shipping from start to finish with digital partner logistics and our logistics team
  • Participate and add values in regular meeting with the Digital Partner for any operational topics
  • Initiate projects within the scope of digital and/ or sales team
  • Take wholistic approach and lead the win-win relationship at the negotiation with account for operational topics, cross functional meetings, business planning & weekly/monthly review
  • -Track performance of all new products and recently added assortments and make appropriate course corrections
  • Team management – lead, guide, coach and development

Qualifications

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

  • Native fluency in Japanese
  • Advanced in English
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications
  • High level of analytical skills
  • International mindset
  • Proven excellent Project management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and working with systems/application
  • Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy of data
  • Ability to understand and translate data to make recommendations and decisions
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to think strategically, synthesize complex data and develop innovative solutions

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree or adequate education in the field of Business ideally in Sales and/or Marketing or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum 4-6 years of job experience in ecommerce platform operation, sales operation, IT system development
  • Infrastructure & architecture development experience
  • Experience working in an international Company
