Job Description

Purpose & Overall Relevance to the Organization

To drive an effective and efficient brand activation across all product categories with full alignment between the APAC teams

To develop entire marketing activation plan and ensure effective executions through digital, media, influencer, in-store and events with efficient brand and product messages for targeted consumer


Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic plans for entire marketing activation to enhance brand attractiveness for targeted consumer
  • Ensure that the local brand marketing plan to make maximize sell-through through digital, media, influencer, in-store and event with delivering brand and product messages
  • Plan and execute internal and B to B event such as sales meeting, key account meeting and trade show to make maximize sell-in
  • Create local content (brief and production) in alignment with the APAC BA team and get approval from global BU if necessary
  • Develop the media strategy for each campaign execution
  • Supervise all digital activations to make maximize own eCom business and external eCom partners
  • Manage and supervise PR communication activations through media and influencer to make the biggest-hyped story for each project in right timing
  • Oversee the marketing promotion with key accounts through the campaign, training for shop staff with shop-rounders to improve sell-through
  • Manage and supervise the brand presentation space in strategic doors based on adidas fixture regulations
  • Ensure efficient execution of plans within the scope of the allocated OPEX, MWB and CAPEX
  • Recruit best in class people and provide people management guidance. Lead, develop and retain talents to foster a high-performance culture and to contribute to improve our eNPS

  • Brand Activation and Sports Marketing teams
  • Country Merchandizing team
  • Local Sales and Finance team
  • External partners (Agencies, Media, influencers, key accounts and Sport Marketing assets)

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • High degree of knowledge of the full marketing mix (advertising, events, sponsorship, retail, PR, digital) with a major brand or retailer (sporting goods industry preferred)
  • Ability to development local marketing strategies following global guidelines
  • Marketing budget planning and management
  • Strong presentation skill to internal and external stakeholders
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite of products
  • Experience in both, market and regional marketing organization preferred
  • Advanced abilities in the fields of employee engagement and performance management at every level through effective motivation, coaching, training, and development of personnel in the team

Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience, ideally in Sales and/or Marketing
  • At least 5 to 7 years’ experience in relevant Marketing fields
  • Proven track record as a leader
  • Sales and /or Marketing experience
  • Fluent in English and native Japanese
