Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and passionate Senior Backend Engineer to join us! If you are self-driven and passionate to help users solve their problems with code, we would love to chat with you.
Responsibilities
As Senior Backend Engineer at ADPList,
- You'll be responsible for the server-side code and APIs of our web applications.
- You'll be involved in the entire product development lifecycle including the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of new and existing features.
- Your work will impact the stability and quality of the ADPList platform.
- You'll write reusable, maintainable, and scalable code.
- You’ll work with Frontend Engineers to implement new updates and features that cut across the UI and the server side.
- You'll also write automated unit tests and perform UI tests to optimize performance. You'll work closely with the entire product team and other engineers to ensure system consistency and create a great user experience. Ultimately, you'll be the driving force behind all back-end activities.
Qualifications
- You have excellent and strong experience with the Python Programming language
- You have excellent and strong experience working with Django and the Django Rest Framework
- Good experience with a microservice architecture
- You have experience working on complex projects where you were involved significantly from system design and architecture to product deployment
- Good understanding of REST and its standard practices in building a web application or API
- You have a good understanding of the entire product development process and can own a product from start to finish without the involvement of other engineers
- Experience working with Docker Desktop
- You're curious about new technologies and you're excited to find ways to implement them in your work
- You have technical and consumer awareness and can troubleshoot problems in the team and for users
Bonus Requirement
- Experience with DevOps and reading in between the lines to understand the health of services, where, and how to optimize
