The JP Cross-Channel, Cross-Category Marketing Team (XCM) seeks a skilled Art Director with extensive experience in advertising and branding. This individual creates and executes fully integrated visual ideas, bringing them to life across multiple channels, including TV commercials, social media, digital platforms, outdoor advertising (OOH), websites, banners, and owned media for our marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate is a strong conceptual thinker and an adept problem solver, capable of independently developing on-brand creative concepts for application across various channels and platforms. In this role, the Art Director translates business strategy into effective creative solutions for some of our largest and most complex campaigns. They transform these concepts into practical final executions and deliverables, communicating clearly with customers while upholding the highest creative standards.
A day in the life
As the Art Director, you will partner with our Group Creative Director to lead advertising campaigns and marketing activities. These creative tasks will include company-wide marketing initiatives for Amazon Retail (Amazon.co.jp), Prime, and the Amazon corporate brand, as well as campaigns and branding for specific categories or services. You will be expected to direct creators both within and outside the company and to engage in hands-on work.
