Job Description

Amazon Japan Consumer Innovation aims to strengthen engagement between Amazon Japan and our selling partners by transforming the user experience of the processes and systems that connect us. We’re looking for a driven, customer-centric, and innovative UX and Service Designer who is passionate about improving our vendor experience and has a proven track record of simplifying complex e-commerce selling partner workflows through digital service design methodologies. You will lead the design of digital supply chain services for our vendor partners. This highly visible role will reimagine the vendor experience for inbound services, drive process streamlining and service innovation, ultimately delighting our vendor partners with a first-of-its-kind B2B experience. You will work with business and tech teams to build new vendor self-service capabilities to accelerate adoption and improve the vendor experience in delivering products to Amazon.

The right candidate is obsessed with making things just work for the user. You are able to think big while being detail-oriented and can dive deep to understand complex processes, existing system interactions and system dependencies so as to deliver a streamlined user experience. You thrive in a fast-paced, start-up like environment with lots of ambiguity. You must be able to influence product vision and strategy at a senior level, establish trust with global teams and represent the customer in all interactions. You will own the experience in Vendor Central and work closely with product and engineering team members to deeply understand customer pain points, operational constraints and business drivers to design creative solutions that supersede immediate needs and delight our vendor partners. You are a tireless advocate for design excellence and work closely with local business teams, supply chain operations and technical teams to build the Amazon Supply Chain of the future.

Please attach a PORTFOLIO when you apply to this position. Either URL or presentation slides (PDF, PPT etc.) will be accepted.
