Job Description
We seek a well-experienced Unity engineer to join our core team and help bring our new ideas to life, surprising the world together. This position can involve all elements of product development, from 0 to 1.

Responsibilities
- Help guide or lead cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from the initial concept of our new product to completion.
- Demonstrate expertise/ownership in major areas of the codebase.
- Collaborate closely with the executive, project manager, and design team.
- Mentor, motivate, and inspire junior engineers.
Qualifications
- Passion for the Japanese entertainment industry — anime, manga, gaming, VTubing... you must be an otaku!
- 4+ years experience, in developing complete applications using Unity for both Android and iOS, with a requirement that these applications must have been successfully released. (We don't include the experience of hyper-casual games here)
- Experience in integrating external APIs (server-side) within applications
- Development experience with a team of 3 members or more, especially communicating with product design, product manager, and business development team members
- English fluency and Japanese fluency (around N3 level)
- Experience using Github, Notion, GSuite, Microsoft Office, Slack, and Zoom
Bonus Points
- Familiarity with platforms such as AppStore / Google Play
- Knowledge of Typescript(Node.js)
- Experience in using Unity Addressable Asset System
- Experience with Realtime Database or Cloud Firestore
- Experience with Agora
- Experience in implementing functions that work with servers
- Experience in developing communication systems in standard web technologies, such as streaming services and network games
About the Company
We develop and operate AniLive, a mobile streaming app specifically designed for virtual streamers and their fans in English-speaking countries.
On this platform, streamers can become "AniLivers" with their own avatars, allowing them to start streaming from "anytime, anywhere" and earn income. As viewers, the vertical streaming experience on AniLive enables them to enjoy communication with their favorite AniLivers from a close distance, experiencing a new level of engagement including various gift animations.
