As the Head of Engineering for Vision Pro, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technological vision and strategy for Bjak's initiatives in Japan. The ideal candidate is a seasoned engineering leader with a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions in dynamic markets. Operating at the forefront of technological advancement, you will lead a diverse team in addressing complex challenges, translating ideas into cohesive and singular directions.
Your role involves fostering a culture of innovation, overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, and driving collaborative efforts within cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for setting and achieving strategic engineering goals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products, and contributing to comprehensive solutions that redefine the landscape of Vision Pro experiences in Japan.
Qualifications
- Exceptional proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Swift
- Extensive experience with Unity XR and visionOS SDK: ARKit, RealityKit, and SwiftUI
- Proven track record in rapid prototyping with a keen sense for balancing time vs. complexity tradeoffs
- In-depth understanding of 3D VR design principles, advanced 3D modeling, and physics
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Extraordinary attention to detail
- Experience leading and developing a team of highly skilled engineers in a cross-functional environment
- Experience collaborating with other disciplines including design, art, and quality assurance
