Job Description

As the Operations Manager for our Japan expansion, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our business operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability. You will play a key role in establishing and maintaining operational processes and systems that support our growth objectives in the Japanese market.


  • Develop and implement operational strategies and initiatives aligned with business objectives and market dynamics. Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost optimization.
  • Lead and motivate the operations team, providing guidance, support, and direction to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and streamline operational processes and workflows to improve efficiency and productivity. Implement best practices and standards to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality products/services.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Identify and mitigate operational risks to protect the company's assets and reputation.
  • Implement quality control measures and standards to maintain product/service quality and customer satisfaction. Monitor and address any issues or deviations from quality standards.
  • Develop and manage the operations budget, monitoring expenses and revenue to ensure profitability. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management or related roles, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
  • Solid understanding of business operations, supply chain management, and process optimization.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Japanese business practices, regulations, and cultural norms is preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Japanese (both written and spoken) is required.
