As a Product Manager for the Japanese market, you will be responsible for driving the product strategy, development, and growth of our offerings in Japan. This role involves understanding the unique needs of the Japanese market, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative products and features to our Japanese customers.
- Develop and execute a product roadmap for the Japanese market, aligned with business goals and localized market needs.
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape in Japan.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from different teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define product requirements and priorities.
- Work closely with UX designers and developers to create and iterate on product prototypes and features optimized for the Japanese market.
- Collaborate with localization teams to ensure the translation and cultural adaptation of our products for the Japanese market.
- Monitor and analyze key metrics and user feedback to inform ongoing product enhancements and optimizations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes that may impact our products in Japan.
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding product updates and launches in Japan.
- Drive user adoption and growth through effective product marketing and communication strategies targeted at the Japanese market.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product management, preferably with a focus on the Japanese market.
- Strong understanding of the Japanese market, consumer behavior, and cultural nuances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and user insights to drive product decisions.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
- Fluency in both Japanese and English languages.
