Senior Product Manager

We believe right prioritization is critical to maximize the performance of software engineers. We are searching for a Product Manager who is committing to help software engineer maximize their performance and delivery.

We believe that the modern workspace is underserved by the existing software solutions and we are building the modern productivity hub in the area of law document editing. BoostDraft is an extension of Microsoft Word application for lawyers’ productivity - brining together highlight, keyword, and proofreading integrations and provide an integrated writing/editing environment for lawyers. BoostDraft is a fast growing business application with an opportunity to impact thousands global users daily and the number of users are increased fast.  Therefore, we are looking for creative problem solvers and diverse thinkers—people who care about customers as well as developing features and engaging the users. Responsibilities

• Build roadmap and prioritize issues and features, working closely with CXO
• Structure and breakdown issues/features into small pieces so that software engineer can maximize their performance
• Maximize software engineering productivity through prioritization, alternative easier solution and designing workflow
• Build and drive the schedule and working with team members involved in the program, making appropriate tradeoffs to optimize for quality and time to market.
• Own communications of the program to internal, external and leadership teams. These include (and not limited to) status of the program on a regular basis, risks and the mitigations, changes to schedule.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience delivering end-user facing products or services
• Has strong leadership, dependency management and cross-group collaboration skills with a proven track record of managing projects with many stakeholders
• Understand software engineering

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Demonstrated experience across the entire product lifecycle – from competitive research, ideation, user centered design, specification, architecture, and the know-how required to lead the crew to realize team vision
• Innate curiosity and ability to thrive in ambiguous and rapidly changing startup environment. Self-starters and innovators with a positive, collaborative can-do attitude and bias for action.

About the Company

BoostDraft is developing the assisted document editor for non-engineers, importing the concept of IDE for software engineers. It is founded in 2021 by grad students at MIT and Stanford. We heavily focus on Product development. While we rely on word of mouth and referrals rather than marketing, we have already obtained 4,000+ paid users within a year.
