Braid Technologies is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of our innovative platform for automated engineering design. You will be involved in building and scaling both the client-facing applications and the connection to the underlying server-side infrastructure that powers our unique solutions.

The Role

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will play a key role in the development lifecycle, from gathering user needs to implementing and deploying robust and scalable solutions. You will work collaboratively with our software engineering and research team to build and enhance our platform, ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience. Your contributions will directly impact how our customers interact with and benefit from our cutting-edge technology.


Responsibilities

  • Explore the future of how humans interact with AI to solve problems in advanced engineering design.
  • Design, develop, and maintain both the front-end and the connection to our reasoning platform.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional and appealing user interfaces.
  • Build and maintain a robust connection to our platform.
  • Ensure the responsiveness, performance, and security of our applications.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and issues.
  • Proactively identify and address technical challenges and bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams to deliver high-quality software products.

You are a passionate front-end engineer who enjoys working across the full technology stack. You enjoy problem-solving and have a strong understanding of software development principles. You are eager to contribute to a dynamic and innovative environment and see your work directly impact the future of engineering design.

Skills and Experience

  • Solid understanding of web front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Proven experience with full stack systems and connection to existing codebases.
  • Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control (Git), testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration capabilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

What Would Be an Advantage

  • Degree in computer science / computer engineering OR a good track record portfolio.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of software security principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with data visualization libraries.
