Product Designer

Job Description

Are you passionate about the environment? Interested in combatting climate change? Do you get excited about delighting users and delivering software solutions with lean, iterative design? If so, you’ve come to the right place. We are looking for a Product Designer to join our team.

Your day to day

As Product Designer you will work with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders on a highly collaborative team. To us, design is not a phase but a first-class member of any functional software team. You will work with users, stakeholders, and teammates to design valuable and shippable products. We measure progress by shipping software, not wireframes.

Qualifications

On your first day, you will have

• Ability to communicate and conduct user interviews in both English and Japanese
• Experience leading and conducting user research, both generative and evaluative, through an inclusive cross-discipline process
• A strong, structured approach to communication and desire to work in a collaborative environment
• Experience with a user-centered design process
• Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills
• Design Leadership abilities to undertake explorations into new technologies and territories while also delivering practical designs in a fast-moving product-driven context

About the Company

Creattura is a Climate Tech startup founded in Tokyo in 2022. We use finance and technology to develop innovative solutions to climate change. We are currently building a data platform for measurement, reporting, and verification (MRV) of climate impact from sustainable rice agriculture.
