The Software Engineer (C#) for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for working on compelling technical challenges within a results-oriented team of gifted Software Engineers.

This position is part of the R&D Software Engineering Group located in Shizuoka, Japan and will be hybrid. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Software Engineering Group and report to the Manage responsible for all development processes for the software of Medical Instruments. Responsibilities

• Develop medical device software
• Specification creation, design, coding, testing, and various reviews
• Participate as a team member in fully agile Scrum deliveries
• Collaboration with software engineers in overseas offices (United States, India, China and other countries)
• Software quality improvement activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years experience
• Has knowledge of best practices and how own area related to software engineering integrates with others
• Lead projects or projects with manageable risks and resource requirements
• Solves complex problems based on the analysis of multiple sources; takes a new perspective on existing solutions in software development

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in

• Proficient in C# (3 + years of experience)
• Business level Japanese communication skills
