Responsibilities

  • Develop Marketing Business Plan (MBP) for the assigned product to shape market leadership position 
  • Hold accountability for a range of marketing activities, localize and adapt global growth drivers, or develop new local growth drivers 
  • Create a culture-back brand plans for the assigned portfolio, that can generate impact in key occasions  
  • Bring deep consumer understanding and cultural intelligence to the fore in service of building our brands in culture and making many consumers dream. 
  • Lead ATL and BTL comms strategy in building brand awareness in top 10% occasion and nurture talkability through creative and cutting-edge ideas to ensure brand is at the front of millennial culture 
  • Develop/Execute a captivating Brand World that is alluring to consumers, driving instant recognition of the brand and cues luxury 
  • Deliver coordinated activation and creation of content through cultural partnerships, amplified through agile media 
  • Respond quickly to opportunities and challenges across markets and functions (supply, finance), taking advantage of a plethora of brand-building opportunities and resolving problems at pace 
  • Work closely with Culture, Consumer planning, Commercial team to develop & evaluate the business environment shift and propose counter action plans. 
  • Responsible for budget control and business targets to deliver brand growth for short and long term

Qualifications

  • Marketers with the ability to create products as beacons of desire. Always focused on the external environment and deeply curious about what’s coming around corners in relation to trends and talkability.   
  • A strong and well-informed point of view on long-term strategy 
  • The ability to build and align a group of diverse stakeholders on that plan, working with Senior Leaders, cross functional experts, and market teams 
  • Inspiring a global community of brand builders, both marketers and commercial teams, to grow the business 
  • Building a strong sense of team spirit within and across markets 
  • Inspiring and managing a complex roster of partners to deliver compelling brand plans activated in an omnichannel way 
  • Standing for what is right for the brand, challenging where appropriate 
  • Strong partnership with agencies and hold the tension for the right level of luxury standards 
  • Own and drive the Brand strategy, ambition and execution, inspiring, engaging and managing 
  • Develop stellar culture back plans on the brand to build drive talkability  
  • Amazing relationship builder
  • Language: Japanese business level, English business level
