Content Creator / Social Media Marketer

Job Description

E-Housing is looking for a content creator/social media marketer with mid-level experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate ideas and drive their creation and production, on time and on budget
• Create engaging branded content on various social media channels (videos, photos, blog posts)
• Research industry-related topics to stay ahead of the competition
• Present ideas comprehensively to clients and colleagues, confidently explaining and supporting your thinking
• Translate content between English and Japanese
• Develop and implement effective social media strategies
• Promote content on social networks and monitor engagement (e.g. comments and shares)
• Shoot/edit photos and videos
• Research and collaborate with influencers
• Translate creative direction and copy points from briefs into engaging and effective concepts
• Support other team members
• Write clear, attractive copy with a distinct voice
• Write compelling copy across the customer journey

Qualifications

• Fluent in both: English and Japanese
• Proven work experience as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or similar role
• Photography and videography skills
• Experience with Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Solid knowledge of social media best practices, digital trends and the social media landscape in Japan
• Deep understanding of the different mechanisms of varied platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Discord, TikTok, Twitch, etc
• Relentlessly curious about people, technology, brands, design and real estate
• Able to work from our office in Jingumae
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Creative thinker who can bring new ideas and keep our brand relevant
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills
• Positive attitude, enthusiasm, high energy, sense of humor
• Self-directed, self-motivated, and ability to work independently
• Impeccable writing, proofreading and editing skills in English and Japanese
• Problem-solving mindset
