Job Description

Exp Federal delivers full-service Architectural & Engineering and Design-Build solutions. We are seeking a Project Manager for our growing design practice to oversee project planning, management of contracts, and other architecture and engineering-related duties in the Indo-Pacific region.

Our Project Managers are responsible for complex projects that require innovative, efficient solutions collaborating across disciplines for site-specific project needs. The Project Manager will manage multiple A&E projects supervising professional and technical innovators in various disciplines.


Responsibilities

  • Perform as the senior project manager on key contracts in the Indo-Pacific region – primarily Japan and Korea, with potential travel to Guam, Hawaii, Australia, Philippines, Singapore, and other areas in the Indo-Pacific region
  • Responsible for project performance including quality, cost, and scheduling 
  • Interact closely with and foster relationships with our federal government clients 
  • Lead developing design concepts through construction documents and coordinate with project teams of architects, engineers, and specialty consultants 
  • Work closely with the Vice President of A&E Services and the Business Development Team to identify and respond to new business opportunities 
  • Manage resources and execution requirements to support projects and monitor resource allocation to maximize efficient and effective management of projects 
  • Set up new projects, develop subcontract documents and Intercompany Service Agreements
  • Work closely with technical leads to gather lessons learned and maintain consistency in project delivery 
  • Deliver metrics relating to client satisfaction 
  • Maintains safety focus and coordinates with the Corporate Safety and Security Officer on the safety management of projects
  • Coordinates with the Corporate Quality Control Officer on matters related to maintaining quality management of projects 
  • Mentor and coach individual team members to grow their capabilities 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university 
  • Licensed Architect or Professional Engineer
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a Project Manager, some of which much be as a US Government Contractor
  • Experience in contract management 
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance 
  • 5 years of experience working with the USG and GOJ on DOD projects in Japan, Korea, or other Pacific locations 
  • Multi-lingual in English, Japanese, and or Korean
  • Proficiency in MS Project

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing A&E services on Design-Build contracts in the US Government Contractor Sector 
  • Project Management Certification
