Job Description

As a Gensler Project Manager, you have a successful track record of managing all phases of projects and will have overall project responsibility for client satisfaction, quality control and financial performance. You will deploy resources to ensure that the work process flows smoothly and act as the primary liaison between the team and client.  This is a great opportunity to join a highly creative, collaborative team while working on trendsetting architectural projects across a variety of industries. 


Responsibilities

Work with clients, collaborate with in-house architecture / interior team members, and external partners to lead and manage all phases of project tasks.

  • Communicate with clients and internal and external members
  • Team management
  • Project planning / preparation of various documents
  • Overall project progress management
  • Budget preparation and management
  • Bidding progress management, preparation of bidding guidelines, cost assessment, contract assistance, invoice management
  • Schedule creation and management
  • Task list creation/management, design change management
  • Project proposal preparation, contract and cost negotiation 

Qualifications

Required

  • Project management experience for Architecture and / or Interior Design projects
  • 3 to 10 years of work experience (Consulting industry background is a plus)
  • Business level of English proficiency (At a level that allows you to take charge of overseas projects)
  • Ability to organize and understand clients' business requirements and issues, and make proactive proposals
  • Internal and external team management and communication skills
  • Ability to cope with the situation with the flexibility

Your Design Technology Qualifications

Essential

  • Familiarity with the BIM project lifecycle through design, construction and operational phases
  • Understanding of BIM deliverables and terminology in contracts
  • Experience in establishing and managing BIM teams for project design and delivery
  • Good knowledge and experience with collaboration within the BIM context, including cloud-based markups, consultant coordination and clash detection
  • Experience in managing design teams with Revit/Rhino/Grasshopper skills

Desirable

  • Basic understanding and familiarity with real-time rendering processes, and material creation & management within the context of integrated BIM and parametric workflows
  • Understanding of the capabilities and application of Information Management tools such as Aconex, Asite, Newforma, etc
