Job Description

The Junior Digital Art Director is responsible for designing and developing digital media creations, including websites, landing pages, EDM, digital ad banners, as well as social media content, and more. Using exceptional visual design skills and the latest technology, they produce high-quality digital creations that meet clients' business objectives. Candidate should be hands-on to be able to design by him/herself.


Responsibilities

Core Skills

  • Knowledge and experience in graphic design, web design, and digital design.
  • Experience using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, and Figma.
  • Knowledge and experience in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Candidate is not required to do coding by him/herself, but should be familiar to those digital background.
  • Communication skills, teamwork skills, collaboration skills, and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility, stress tolerance, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in print design (e.g.Direct mail and brochures)

Responsibilities

  • Design websites, landing pages, EDM, digital ad banners, as well as social media content, digital creations based on clients' business objectives and branding guidelines.
  • Utilize exceptional visual design skills and the latest technology to enhance the quality of digital creations.
  • Collaborate with the creative team as well as other team members such as account management team, strategic planning team to contribute to concept and idea development.
  • Attend meetings with clients to receive requirements and instructions.
  • Conduct quality control to deliver the highest quality deliverables.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in digital design or related fields.
  • A portfolio demonstrating previous work in digital design.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with web design and development.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and other designers.
  • Fluent Japanese and minimum conversational language skill for English Speaking and Reading in order to ensure work understanding & internal communication.
