Job Description

Role: Data Scientist

To contribute to fundamental research and development of catalyst products by leveraging machine learning expertise, with the aim of enhancing our scientific research capabilities in agreement with Technology Roadmap based on general and future expected technical requirement of automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimise machine learning models to enhance research outcomes, tailoring them to meet specific customer project requirements.
• Apply advanced data analysis and machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights that drive R&D projects (e.g. catalyst formulation design, etc.).
• Actively seek and implement ways to improve data analytics and machine learning processes within the team.
• Work collaboratively with various R&D teams, ensuring effective communication and integration of data-driven solutions.
• Participate the activity for ISO14001, OHSAS18001 certifications and Lean of Technology Department.

SCOPE

• Research and development through machine learning: Develop and apply machine learning techniques to drive significant advancements in R&D projects, focusing on innovative solutions and data-driven decision-making.
• Digital Transformation: Play a key role in advancing digital transformation across the R&D department, influencing the adoption of advanced data analytics and machine learning technologies.
• Internal department collaboration: Collaborate with various teams within the R&D departments, and potentially other internal partners, to foster a data-driven culture and cross-functional integration.
