We are looking for our first QA engineer who are comfortable developing, implementing testing processes and methodologies and tools to identify and address any issues or defects in the features and products we want to release. They are responsible for coordinating and conducting tests to ensure the software runs smoothly and meets client needs. This involves reviewing system specifications, executing test scripts, reporting/documenting technical issues, and collaborating with the development, product managers and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a QA tester or similar role, an understanding of project management and QA methodology, and excellent communication skills.
We primarily write in Ruby and deploy to AWS, so understanding how to conduct testing and QA in these environments will be vital. Familiarity with Ruby is not a requirement for this role, as the company is happy to invest time and resources for you to learn.
