Job Description

Our Engineering team is Late Checkout's hidden workhorse. Our developers work closely with the Product and Design teams to build scaleable products across both our Agency and Studio. What sets this team apart is its true flexibility to drive performance across projects, using truly frontier approaches and technologies - they keep us ahead of the curve.

Responsibilities

• Be a strong technical partner across product, design and engineering


• Collaborate with design and product teams to develop new products and services


• Lead the experience and design required to deliver on project objectives


• Jump into different parts of a codebase and collaborate across teams


• Flexibly work across both our startup Studio and client-facing Agency


• Level up our engineering team's skills and culture


• Collaborate strategically with other team members on special projects

• Relevant experiences across both front- and back-end development


• A strong online portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g.: websites or apps, research or content, study plans, ...)

• Data-driven, with strong experience with A/B testing, data instrumentation, and data analysis


• Bias for practicality


• Experience taking a project from scoping requirements through the production launch and beyond


• Experience communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features and technical designs

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional full-stack software development experience, with a specialization in either front- or back-end development


• Experience with at least one modern language such as Java, React, Nodejs, ios, or C# including object-oriented design


• Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems


• Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers


• Experience with scalable web applications and distributed services development, with a particular focus on WEB3-related products or services
