Role Summary

  • Leading business application development
  • Setup and Formalize Development repeatable model for project deliveries
  • Engage with regional teams to understand definition of done from development delivery perspective and channelize its adoption and deliveries within project
  • Engage with various project teams, communicate and establish execution plan


  • Work with various teams across projects to define and drive the development end to end
  • Build solutions to define system specification
  • Design and develop solutions that protect and manage policy administration system
  • Share and review your innovation technical ideas with peers, high level technical contributors, and managers


Required Skills & Experiences (must have)

  • Out of total experience minimum 5 years of extensive hands-on experience in system specification development
  • Should have experience for working insurance domain with minimum 5 years
  • Experience of working for policy administration system
  • Experience of supporting technical teams size of 4-6
  • Experience of interacting with business users and counterpart across markets/region/global

Must Have Experience

  • Development system specification for policy administration system
  • Project lead capabilities
  • Japanese/English bilingual
  • Experience of insurance company


  • Knowledge of single premium, life / annuity insurance is a plus
  • Knowledge of Policy Admin System

Around 15-20 hours per month


  • Based on our Work Rules, we will consider your experience, skills and knowledge when we decide the salary.
  • Commutation allowance and Variable Incentive Bonus are paid based on our Work Rules.

Working Hours

  • Standard Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm (Include 1 hour break. Flextime system available)


  • Social Insurance (Health Insurance, Employees' Pension, Unemployment Insurance, Worker's Accident Insurance), Benefit One, Training system (include Japanese lesson / English lesson), Childcare Leave/Family care Leave, Baby-sitter support program, wiwiw System (Support program for those who take Childcare Leave), Retirement Pension (only for Regular employee).


  • Saturdays and Sundays
  • National Holidays
  • Year-end and new year holidays (December 30, December 31, January 2 and January 3)
  • Annual Paid Holiday
  • For Regular employee, other special holidays are available (e.g. Anniversary Leave, etc.)


  • Hatsudai Head Office, Tokyo Opera City, 3-20-2 Nishi Shinjuku, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo Japan
