Job Description

As a team member at Mazars in Japan's Marketing and Communication department, your role will encompass a diverse range of responsibilities. You will be primarily responsible for corporate communication managing marketing publications, localizing content, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders. You will also play a crucial role in digital communication, overseeing social media performance, formulating content strategies, and managing website updates for brand consistency. Working closely with the Head of MarCom, you will assist in various tasks including event management, brand management, and administrative functions. Your collaboration and support will be essential in achieving departmental goals and ensuring smooth marketing and communication operations.


Responsibilities

▼ Digital communication

- Social media

Ensure social media performance:

  • Utilize social media analytics tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
  • Analyze audience sentiment and engagement levels to gain insights and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on social media performance and provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.

Formulate and implement effective social media content:

  • Develop a social media content strategy aligned with Mazars' marketing objectives and target audience.
  • Create engaging and relevant content tailored for each platform, including LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, and other relevant channels.
  • Create Mazars Japan-related videos for social media marketing.

Incorporate various group campaigns and update on social media:

  • Incorporate various group-wide campaigns and initiatives into social media content plans.
  • Liaise with website management to ensure timely updates and coordination between social media posts and the corporate website.

Create, schedule, and publish digital content:

  • Develop a content calendar and schedule social media posts to maintain a consistent presence across all channels.
  • Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our firm, competitors, and industry trends.
  • Respond to comments, inquiries, and messages on social media channels in a timely and professional manner.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.

- Website management

  • Maintain & update content regularly and localize website content by translation.
  • Publish various group campaigns and reports.
  • Ensure timely updates and coordination between social media posts and the corporate website.
  • Writing & proofreading creative copy, conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
  • Create appropriate website content aligned with the organization’s standard.
  • Respond to and troubleshoot all website issues working with local / group IT teams.
  • Identify and clear broken links to lead the best user experiences.
  • Ensure all pages are being built with proper SEO & optimize the performance & growth of website’s traffic working with external agency and having head of MarCom to give directions.
  • Review and update title & meta description

▼Publication

- Assist Head of M&C in particular:

  • Communicate with internal parties to produce marketing publications regarding the content and manage projects and external resources regarding writing, design including typesetting & layout and promotion of the publications.
  • Typesetting & converting plain text into InDesign or PPT file
  • Localize Mazars group publications and marketing materials to ensure regional and local relevance.

▼Brand management

- Guideline

  • Download all necessary guidelines, templates, presentations and design samples from group intranet, organize and share on local intranet. Make sure to be aware of group updates on those materials.
  • Create Japanese brand guidelines.
  • Ensure all brand-related guidelines, proposal templates, presentations and other source of brand materials in both English and Japanese are always up to date and that they are accessible for employees on intranet.

Design / Digital content production

  • Create templates for the team to be more efficient in social media, email & content marketing.
  • Manage other design needs such as office interior design, equipment, company giveaways and gifts.
  • Always liaise with other scope of activities that need design works and work closely with MarCom member(s) in charge to accomplish a project smoothly

▼Event management

Assist Head of MarCom in particular:

  • Plan and execute internal and external events, initiatives of the firm, such as webinars, conferences, etc.
  • Sourcing and management of clients’ initiative, corporate gifts, and vendors, including coordination of the purchasing process for marketing related items.
  • Update contact database of clients on NetSuite liaising with each service line leaders and office managers after events

▼Others

  • Attend Global and APAC MarCom & BD monthly call.
  • Handle various payments and billing including equipment, sponsorships, advertisements, printing productions etc.
  • Sourcing & stock keeping
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Print out marketing publications in house & maintain sufficient stock to fit internal demand.
  • Assist other duties related to MarCom operations.

Qualifications

Minimum Experience: at least 3-5 years in Marketing and communication or PR

Key Qualifications:

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work well independently and a good team player, strong mindset on keeping confidentiality.

Strong plus:

  • Experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Experience in Adobe Premiere
  • Knowledge in website content management, google analytics, SEO and MailChimp
