As a Marketing Specialist, you will proactively and comprehensively lead a wide range of marketing activities. These not only include proposing marketing investment strategy, planning promotional campaigns, and handling media planning for TV and digital advertising, but also everything from in-app marketing targeting Mercari users to in-store promotions at our 1.74M merchants. What sets Merpay’s Marketing Team apart is the wide range of areas we work in. We do more than simply use ads to bring in new users.
Our Marketing Specialist will work closely with the Data Analytics Team and Product (Development) Team on planning, product improvements, and other matters. This is a position where you can work on achieving the goals of Merpay’s mission while collaborating across individual teams and organizations.
Required Qualifications:
Shared understanding and belief in our company’s mission and values
Five or more years of experience building marketing strategies
Experience running in-app or web advertisements
Business-level Japanese
Preferred Qualifications:
Practical experience in CRM for ventures with customer-focused services
People management experience
Experience working with merchants and agents as partners for a business venture
Experience marketing finance-related services
Experience in SQL and other data-based analysis
