Senior Backend Engineer (Go)

Job Description

We are looking for a Tech Lead Go Engineer in the senior level to join a BANK APP team.

This position will be responsible for the development and implementation using Go with Rest API, developing features, expanding test codes, and improving performance.
With in-depth knowledge of Go concepts, excellent backend coding skills, and familiar with database design, we expect you to improve application performance and lead the project.

Responsibilities

API design and development using Go

• Development of backend APIs to support back office and marketing operations for financial institutions
• Development of backend APIs for a mobile application for end users of financial institutions

Qualifications

Required Skillset

• Management experience as a Tech Lead (Any number of people)
• 2+ years of experience with Go
• 0 to 1 product development experience
• Familiar with AWS
• Fluency in English (Business level)
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field

Our Product, "BANK APP"

“BANK APP" is a mobile application for customers of regional financial institutions, which allows users to access various services such as account opening, fund transfer, loan borrowing, repayment, and changing address, in addition to daily money management such as account balance, deposit, withdrawal details, mortgage balance, and mutual fund investment status. It is linked to the account system in collaboration with regional financial institutions and system vendors, so it can be used by anyone, including those who do not have an internet banking account.

Salary Range

Min 5,500,000 - Max 9,000,000 Japanese yen / year (Gross)

*Including fixed overtime work allowance of 45 hours for regular, non-legal hours, legal holidays and 40 hours for late-night work.

Remote work: Available up to 4 days a week
