Sr. Product Manager, Data Platform

Job Description

You will be responsible for product management related to planning, proposing, developing, and releasing data platform solutions. The main tasks include basic concept formulation (architecture policy formulation, development roadmap formulation), requirements definition, specification formulation, and development management.

Salary

Expected annual income: 7.2 million yen to 11.6 million yen + stock options granted

The above includes 45 hours of fixed overtime pay

Responsibilities

• Expansion of technical metadata acquisition services
• Expansion of the ecosystem for data quality and data lineage acquisition services
• Expansion of external API systems

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Over 3 years of product management experience in B2B software, or equivalent achievements
• Over 3 years of experience in business development or consulting in business or IT, or equivalent achievements
• Knowledge of middleware related to data engineering (including DWH, ETL, Modern Data Stack ecosystem), or knowledge of data management and data governance
• Ability to perform business tasks in English

Preferred Experiences

• Over 3 years of experience in system design and construction on AWS (or Azure)
• Familiarity with modern data platform solutions centered around Snowflake or Databricks
• Ability to lead the formulation of mid- to long-term strategies according to business strategy
• Experience negotiating across departments with clients whose sales exceed 500 billion yen
