Life Media Service Development Section offers a wide variety of services. Infoseek, recipes, blogs, Minshu, real estate, fortune-telling, and other services that ensure contact with users and contribute to the Rakuten ecosystem.
We, Personal Finance Service Development Group, are planning the first release in 2024, and you will be able to create iOS applications from full scratch. We are looking for engineers who will work together to create new service value.

Why We Hire
We are implementing some new features aiming service launch. After initial release we are planning to add new features and feature improvements.
Position Details
You will be responsible for iOS app development using Swift, collaborating closely with the backend team based on specifications received from the producers.
In addition to coding, you will take responsibility for the overall quality of the application, including software-level design, and lead the team, which involves tasks such as code reviews of iOS engineers.
While there are many uncertain elements in the development of a new service, you will have the opportunity to build applications and services from scratch.
You will have close interaction with the business members, enabling you to receive quick feedback and drive the improvement cycle.

Our team is very diverse, with members from various backgrounds.
English is the primary language of communication within the team.
The iOS team consists of 3 members, the backend team comprises 4 members, and the producer team consists of 3 members, with effective collaboration among these teams being essential for project success.
