The project management team, which you will be part of, is responsible for executing the project within the scope and budget by collaborating with the product and business teams.

Our Tokyo Autonomous Forklift Solutions team is seeking an Associate Project Manager who can effectively manage complex customer projects related to autonomous forklift solutions while building a scalable process for project delivery. The team collaborates closely with some of Japan's leading enterprise customers and our top talented engineers. The group aims to create scalable solutions and establish an end-to-end process by 2023.

Responsibilities

• Support management of project schedules, assignments, outputs, and customer satisfaction
• Lead execution as directed by the project manager until handover to the operations team is complete.
• Analyze customer requirements and take measures in cooperation with project managers and engineers.
• Support the establishment of an efficient project management process for mass production
• Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience with project management in factory automation, logistics, electric devices, IT system integration, or automotive industries
• Strong ownership and drive for project delivery
• Ability to read and write a technical document in English
• Ability to communicate with customers in Japanese fluently

Preferred Qualifications

• Project management certification
• Good understanding of safety regulations in the automotive or industrial machinery industry and experience in risk assessments
• Good understanding of robotics or computer science
