The social media Specialist manages the daily content creation, community management of and publishing for our market’s social media accounts for one of the most exciting brands in the world. This includes overseeing accounts and working with creators to plan content across relevant social media platforms such as Instagram,TikTok, X, and YouTube.
You create a unique ownable persona/tone for our channels and background as an end-to-end content creator with an acute understanding of what's trending and how/when that should be translated to a broader national social narrative.
You also are responsible for driving brand love via organic engagement with as large an audience as possible across metrics such as reach, engagements, frequency, and length of interaction. Ultimately the Social Media Specialist ensures Red Bull generates word of mouth with the right content on the right account/platform at the right time. You will also be able to translate online performance data into actionable plans that can be delivered in local activations, while helping to uplevel the broader digital media expertise and knowledge throughout Red Bull Japan.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Channel Management
You will own the publishing calendar for the assigned social media output in Japan.
Optimizes channel performance through use of analytics, scheduling, featuring, using customized functionalities and driving smooth consumer journeys across platforms.
Build community through social media community management and community focused initiatives.
Uses the right mix of local and global content to ensure year-long audience engagement – from standalone content to flankers that are created with Red Bull events, projects and other properties in mind. Has a strong understanding of what local content will work with a local audience, and how to program it.
Social Media Strategy
Works with the Head of Programming to build on the organization’s business plan by creating and programming strategies in support of the organization’s wider marketing mix.
Social Asset Edits & Production
Develop and produce social first content concepts around our marketing mix with a hyper focus on local relevancy.
Work closely with internal and external content producers and editors to ensure content is made for the platform to maximize performance. Executes activation plans with the Brand and Communications departments to maximize reach of this content.
