We are looking for an Quality Assurance Manager to join our teams, and ensure that we achieve our mission. We are seeking people who thrive in high productivity & engagement environments, who are passionate about marketing products that delight target audiences.


Responsibilities

Client Consultation and Requirement Definition Tasks:

  • Requirement Definition (PRD) Tasks
    • Understanding business logic and workflows, conducting client consultations and investigations as necessary.
    • Understanding logic within the predefined specifications and rules necessary for SaaS product development and translating that into PRDs.
    • After updating the PRD, discuss detailed implementations with Tech Leads and UI/UX Designers.

Other Responsibilities

Based on the candidate's capabilities, the following tasks may be assigned:

  • Required:
    • Writing code for data migration between SaaS products.
    • Writing code for automated tests.
  • Preferred:
    • Collaborate across departments with internal stakeholders to understand user problems and needs and formulate achievable requirements for the development team.
    • Deeply understand customer experiences to identify and fill product gaps, generate new ideas to expand market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
    • Create requirement documents (MRD) and work with product owners, engineering teams, and design teams to realize the product roadmap.
    • Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to create a product vision and corresponding product roadmap.
    • Work with product owners and tech leads to create key user stories.
    • Clarify and create UI/UX designs for projects in cooperation with designers.
    • Develop prototypes with designers and validate customer needs and user experiences.
    • Develop wireframes to realize user stories in collaboration with designers, and create low fidelity prototypes as needed.
    • Create high fidelity user interfaces consistent with existing design styles in collaboration with designers.
    • Drive high-level technical architecture and facilitate appropriate decision-making in collaboration with engineers.
    • Work with sales, marketing, and data analysts to evaluate, measure, and improve the implemented features and their design impacts; familiarity with metrics such as customer satisfaction, revenue, and churn rates is necessary.
    • Lead and drive product process efficiency and overall organizational improvements.
    • Be open and willing to manage and grow the assigned product lines in accordance with business priorities.

Qualifications

  • Educational background from universities in GMARCH or higher
  • Capable of business communication in English
  • Native level of Japanese written and oral communication.
  • Be able to communicate and discuss with individuals from different professional backgrounds.
  • Experience in requirement definition is a plus.
  • Preferred requirements: Development experience with dynamic languages such as Ruby, Python, JavaScript.
  • Experience with operations on databases (such as SQL) is a huge plus.
