Job Description
Our team aims to build foundational and generalized AI models capable of automating the application of AI and data science to realize solutions to real-world issues that would otherwise require significant manpower to achieve.
On our team, you will gain hands-on experience with exploratory and challenging projects, ranging from research and development to the practical implementation of findings.
You will be responsible for research and development in terms of expanding foundational models to enable the creation of more generalized AI capable of automating a significant portion of the work that would be involved in the applying solutions grounded in AI and data science to real world issues.
More specifically, you will identify and eliminate automation bottlenecks in our existing foundation models by working on architecture, learning schemes, and modals.
The ultimate goal is to develop tools and services out of these foundation models.
Responsibilities
- Research, development, and evaluation of state-of-the-art algorithms in foundation models
- Application of software engineering skills
- Presentation of performance reports
- Communication with collaborators, including non-ML experts
- Development of libraries for the practical use of research results
- Writing papers about research results to be submitted to scientific journals and/or top international conferences
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field
- Expertise and excellent research track record in deep generative models
- Implementation skills to advance research and development in Python
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Broad knowledge and research experience in various areas of machine learning and computer science
- Skills in developing commercial software (requirement definition, software design, implementation, testing, project management)
- Experience leading teams
