Job Description

The graphic artist will create visually compelling designs, including those of our hotel's food and beverage department. This includes menu designs, flyers, posters, digital graphics, and other promotional materials. The ideal candidate should have a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, and the ability to work collaboratively with the marketing and F&B teams.


Responsibilities

Menu Design

  • Design and update menus for all F&B outlets, ensuring they are visually appealing and align with brand standards.
  • Collaborate with the F&B team to understand seasonal changes, special events, and promotions that need to be reflected in the menus.
  • Ensure that all menu designs are clear, readable, and accurately represent the offerings.

Promotional Materials

  • Create flyers, posters, and digital graphics for special events, promotions, and seasonal offerings.
  • Design brochures, table tents, and other in-venue marketing materials to enhance guest experience and drive sales.
  • Develop visuals for email marketing campaigns and social media posts related to F&B promotions.

Branding and Identity

  • Maintain and uphold the visual identity of the hotel's F&B outlets, ensuring consistency across all materials.
  • Create brand guidelines for the restaurants to ensure consistent use of logos, fonts, colors, and other visual elements.

Digital Content

  • Design graphics for the hotel's website, ensuring they are optimized for web and mobile use.
  • Develop digital signage for in-house displays, highlighting daily specials, upcoming events, and other promotional content.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with the F&B Office, marketing team, and F&B managers to understand design needs and objectives.
  • Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback to finalize designs.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of all materials.

Quality Control

  • Ensure all designs are high-quality, error-free, and meet print and digital standards.
  • Liaise with printers and other vendors to ensure the accuracy and quality of printed materials.
  • Regularly review and update design assets to keep them current and relevant.

Other Duties

  • Stay updated with design trends and software developments to bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Assist in planning and executing photoshoots for menu items and promotional materials.
  • Provide support for other design-related tasks as needed, contributing to the hotel's overall marketing efforts.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Artist or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
  • Portfolio showcasing various design projects, including print and digital works.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a strong understanding of branding and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time/Part-time position based at the hotel.
  • May require occasional evening or weekend work to meet deadlines or assist with events.
