Job Description

The Product Marketing Manager plays a vital role in developing and executing marketing strategies focused on the Japanese market and the preferences of foreign travelers to Japan. This position involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, including product managers, designers, PR teams, and data scientists, as well as external agencies, to drive cohesive and data-informed marketing campaigns. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, the successful candidate will contribute significantly to shaping product-specific marketing initiatives.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external agencies to develop comprehensive marketing campaigns tailored to the Japanese market and inbound tourism.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of market trends and consumer behavior, leveraging data insights to inform strategic decision-making and optimize campaign performance.
  • Oversee the development of marketing content, ensuring alignment with brand identity, product messaging, and PR narratives.
  • Monitor the performance of marketing campaigns and gather feedback from various internal and external sources, making data-driven adjustments to strategies as needed to achieve marketing objectives.
  • Lead market research initiatives, driving efforts to refine target audience segmentation and develop highly targeted, data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the marketing department, internal stakeholders, external agencies, and data scientists, fostering effective communication and collaboration across all parties.

Qualifications

An ideal candidate would have:

  • Proven marketing experience with a track record of executing data-informed strategies.
  • Deep understanding of the Japanese market and consumer behavior.
  • Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Fluency in Japanese and English.
  • Familiarity with digital media marketing and social media marketing principles

Preferred:

  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration within diverse organizational structures.
  • Creative and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Full Time

Working Hours Flextime System

  • The start and end times are left to the discretion of the worker.
  • (Flexible Time (Start): 5:00 AM to 12:00 PM, (End): 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Core Time: 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM)

Work Style

  • Overtime: 10 to 20 hours per month (varies by job type and season)
  • Flex System available.
  • Hybrid work location (on-site presence recommended)

Holidays

  • 120 days per year
  • Full Two-Day Weekend System: Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays
  • Annual Paid Leave 
  • Summer Vacation: 3 days, to be taken at the desired timing between July and September
