Tonichi Insatsu is traditionally a printing company, but we are expanding our horizons into the IT sector through our new department T-NEXT. We are developing a B2B business card management app called NEXTa Meishi. Our clients use this app to upload, share, and manage business cards within their companies. We are looking for a versatile individual to join our team and help us create an intuitive and user-friendly interface while contributing to the development of our platform.
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a UI/UX Designer. Although Designing skills are required, frontend skills are an added plus. The person will be responsible for designing user interfaces and improving user experiences. The role is primarily located in Tokyo, but offers flexibility for some remote work.
Responsibilities
1. UI/UX Design:
- Design and implement user interfaces that are visually appealing and intuitive.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders/product manager and create high-fidelity mockups.
- Conduct research and usability testing to gather feedback and improve designs.
2. Frontend Development (optional):
- Develop and maintain the frontend of our web application using modern frameworks (Vuejs, Vuetify) and technologies.
- Ensure the application is responsive, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate APIs and other backend services.
Qualifications
- 2 years of job experience.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages and frameworks
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Knowledge of UI/UX software such as Adobe XD, Sketch, or Figma
