As a Mission Designer at Unseen, join our team and help us build an engaging experience, including multiplayer gameplay! If you have a deep understanding of building missions, crafting content and designing the user experience, and are looking for an opportunity to bring ideas to life through both gameplay and narrative, consider joining UNSEEN.

We are looking for a Mission Designer that can communicate fluidly with the art and engineering teams, as well as other game designers, and become a guide or Sherpa in the creation of our game.


Responsibilities

  • Create game design and documentation based on concepts
  • Implement missions and gameplay content
  • Design gameplay experiences for multiplayer
  • Build games using Unreal Engine
  • Ideation, analysis, and implementation of game elements
  • Manage and coordinate the work you are responsible for
  • Cooperate and share information with other disciplines
  • Fluently communicate with other team members

Qualifications

Skills & Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional game development experience
  • Experience designing and implementing missions, quests, and game content
  • Have your own ideas and be willing to contribute them to the project
  • Previous work using game development tools like Unreal Engine, Unity, etc.
  • Experience on a full production cycle for a shipped Console/PC game
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • English speaking and writing skills (Japanese is a plus)

+ Pluses

  • Knowledge and understanding of other disciplines, such as art and technical skills
  • Experience or understanding of multiplayer games and MMORPG development
  • Experience in designing systems that help gameplay succeed
  • Experience or understanding of in-game economies and growth elements
  • Level Design experience
  • Experience finalizing gameplay parameters
  • Development experience and knowledge of different hardware platforms
