Job Description

Mission of this role:
To work on software development which includes requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing of modular embedded software for multicore microcontroller-based Radar ECU products.


Responsibilities

  • Derive software requirement from customer requirements
  • Design, implement and test modular embedded software for microcontroller based automotive Radar ECU products
  • Champion the quality, design, and development of assigned software elements in accordance to defined process
  • Evaluate change requests and analyze issues to design, code, and test assigned new features, change requests and issue fixes.
  • Establish and adhere to estimate in project work plan for assigned projects.
  • Provide regular updates of assigned task progression to software lead for project planning, tracking and oversight
  • Identify and propose product process and infrastructure improvements

Qualifications

Must Have Requirements

A. Technical Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer or Electrical Engineering, or related
  • 5+ years of development experience in embedded software development using C/C++
  • Knowledge of coding standard such as MISRA-C or CERT-C
  • Experience with vehicle interface function development (such as CAN communication, Direct Port Input/Output, Diagnostics services, and Vehicle variations)
  • Knowledge in embedded software tools, debuggers, etc. as listed below
  • Tools: Enterprise Architect, Visual Studio, Infineon Aurix Microcontroller tools (Compiler, Emulator, Simulator), LDRA Static Analysis, Tasking Compiler, iSYSTEM WinIdea, and PTC Source Integrity, CodeBeamer, AUTOSAR Builder, Davinci Configurator)
  • Knowledge in usage of electronic test equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, power supply, etc.)

B. “Soft” Skills

  • Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team
  • Open mind to adopt to changing software release schedules and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

  • Experience in AUTOSAR based software development
  • Experience with scripting tools and methods to optimize SW development and testing activities
  • Knowledge of Functional Safety Concepts
  • Knowledge of Cyber Security
  • Knowledge of ISO26262 or ASPICE processes

Language Skill

  • English: Conversational Level 
  • Japanese: Conversational Level
