Job Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as a Senior Product Engineer / Product Manager located in Osaka. You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and overseeing the deployment of vending machines and IoT devices in the Japanese market.
- Providing application support for vending machines and IoT devices.
- Acting as a bridge between the R&D team and Japanese B2B clients and partners, including foodservice companies and property owners.
- Gathering feedback from the Japanese market, including UI and customer experience, and proposing improvement plans to the R&D team.
- Providing ad hoc support for our Japan office.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in product development and/or management
- Analytical skills and ability to interpret data and customer feedback to inform product direction
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Fluent in Japanese and basic to conversational English
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with B2B and/or enterprise hardware products
- Demonstrated success in launching and growing products from ideation to launch
- Understanding of design thinking and UX principles
