Job Description
DNK is a property management system tailored for countries in the Asia-Pacific region, streamlining operations with tools for management, marketing, leasing, and building operations. The DNK platform supports rental property owners and managers by combining global standards with local nuances, including language, currency, and legal requirements.
Responsibilities
- Build a strong understanding and empathy for the behaviors and needs of our customers. Seek to achieve regular visits and touchpoints with customers and and potential customers.
- Identify the highest impact problems to be solved by leveraging data and research. Continuously challenge and test potential solutions to ultimately evolve and improve the product experience.
- Seek to become the team’s expert on the local competitive environment, customer needs, and legal requirements
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing and sales to build an understanding of our product from multiple sources
- Collaborate with the product team to help drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Partner with engineering, design, and other functions to execute on roadmaps with high velocity and alignment cross-functionally
- Maximize clarity by bringing a data-driven mindset to setting concrete goals, and measuring product performance
Qualifications
- You have at least 4+ years experience managing complex web applications within a cross-functional product team
- You have native fluency in Japanese, with a business proficiency in English
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You are comfortable writing — our team heavily utilizes Notion and Slack as a centralized database to democratize access to knowledge
- You enjoy talking to customers frequently to uncover needs and problems that eventually drive the team’s roadmap
- You are someone who takes personal initiative and autonomy in your day to day work.
- You are comfortable working cross functionally with teammates in design, engineering, sales, marketing, and business
- You have the ability to adapt your tools and processes for the velocity of a fast-paced startup where projects have varying requirement level
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in the property management software/real estate industry or experience working with B2B enterprise software in another industry.
- Strong analytical skills and comfort making data-driven decisions
- Experience working in a fast-moving, autonomous startup environment
- Experience collaborating with engineers on third party integrations
- Experience working with globally distributed teammates
