Responsibilities

Overall responsibility: Strategic and tactical responsibilities for upstream and downstream marketing activities related to the Marketing strategy for Japan working closely with the Japan Sales teams, US Marketing team, key opinion leaders and other teams as needed.

  • Brand: Develop brand strategy, campaign and essential collateral, including value proposition, positioning, messaging, and economic value.
  • Country Launches: develop pricing programs, distribution channel strategy, inventory planning, account targeting and segmentation and sales support.
  • Evidence: scientific conference planning and execution, podium and publication planning, and assessment of evidence needs.
  • Training, Education & Physician Relations: train field force (sales, clinical, distributors), develop medical education programs, drive KOL and advisory board programs.
  • Product Development: market and opportunity assessments, market research and physician feedback, design input for new products, active participation in product development team(s) and portfolio prioritization and planning.
  • Partner closely with marketing leadership, Japan sales, cross-functional colleagues (including clinical, manufacturing, R&D, regulatory and finance), senior management and key physicians.
  • Monitor of market trends including competition, procedural/market growth, reimbursement, and emerging technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
