Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Kikuvi is looking for collaborative team members to help build our services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implementation, and operation of web applications (TypeScript, React, Node.js)
• Development and enhancement of AI agents (Python)
• Establishment and automation of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure (GitHub Actions, Google Cloud, Terraform)
• Foundation for MLOps (accuracy evaluation, automated monitoring)
• Specification formulation and product improvement based on user experience and requirements
• Establishment of model performance metrics, design of A/B testing, and analysis of results

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Deep understanding of computer science
• Understanding of generative AI and AI agents
• Software development experience across multiple programming languages
• Over 5 years of experience in software development

Preferred Qualifications (Desirable Experience and Skills)

• Kaggle Grandmaster (Solo/Team) or top medal achievements
• Accepted papers in top conferences such as NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, ACL (benchmark: 2 papers or more)
• Experience with pre-training/distillation/RLHF for LLM, and environment setup for vector search (FAISS, Milvus)
• Backend/service development experience using TypeScript or Go
• OSS contributions, speaking or writing in technical communities
• Tech lead/product lead experience in startups
• Patent applications or collaborative research project development in Japanese or English

• Leadership capable of openly sharing insights and elevating the technical proficiency of the entire team
