Job Description

Loftwork is an open collaboration-driven creative company. We offer project management and creative direction for space design, website design, service design, and more. Some of the areas we work in include sustainability, technology, social innovation, and local revitalization. We are hiring for Creative Directors and Producers who are passionate about open collaboration.

Experience (junior, mid-level, etc.): Junior, mid-level

Candidates can apply from: Everywhere

Responsibilities

Understanding: Research and Hypothesis Building

Working on something new, working with new people, is an encounter with the unknown. Loftwork projects always begin with an attempt to learn new things and to build hypotheses that lead to understanding.

Conceive: Workshops, collaborative work

We gather a lot of information and ideas from a diverse range of people with whom we have had no previous contact. We do this in the form of workshops, and this kind of collaborative thinking process generates new ideas for solutions as well as motivation for the team to work together to realize them.

Give shape to ideas: design and direction

Design is the process of putting ideas into concrete form and structure. The direction is to refine the design and make it better. By creating a place and process for collaboration among various people, we can lead to better outputs.

Promotion: Management and facilitation

Because a project involves diverse members with diverse values and motivations, it is necessary to bring together their diverse strengths and lead the project to success. In the management and facilitation of such a project, it is important that not only the person with the role of project manager, but also all participants have a management awareness.

Project managers execute projects that are commissioned by the client. This role involves not only the goals of the project, but also the overall design of the project, including processes, approaches, and communication methods, and working with other project members to ensure its success.

For applicants with less experience, you can also apply to be an Assistant Creative Director. This role assists the Director in taking an active and self-led role in some of the projects. After gaining a certain level of experience and acquiring the skills to participate in projects as a project manager, they will be promoted to the position of director.
