Job Description

We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer with a strong background in building and maintaining high-quality websites and applications. In this role, you will work closely with designers, developers, and project managers to create custom WordPress solutions that meet client requirements. From implementing themes and plugins to troubleshooting and optimizing performance, you’ll ensure seamless functionality and user experiences. This position requires native-level Japanese, conversational English, and proficiency in WordPress development, with a strong understanding of coding best practices. Knowledge of WooCommerce, responsive design, and SEO is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom WordPress websites, including theme and plugin customization, based on client requirements.
• Write clean, well-structured code following best practices to ensure site performance, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with designers to translate mockups and wireframes into functional websites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress functionality, performance, and security.
• Optimize websites for speed, responsiveness, and SEO.
• Conduct website testing and debugging to ensure quality and functionality across devices and browsers.
• Work directly with clients and project managers to gather requirements and provide regular progress updates.

Qualifications

• Business-level English, conversational Japanese.
• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of WooCommerce and other WordPress-related tools.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and website optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented and proactive in problem-solving.
