
Product Marketing Manager
Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify new market segments, partners or business opportunity
- Identify trends to develop, deploy and sustain Programs for growth. This could be for specific end user group, Segment, specific products or any other area. The key focus is to bring new avenues of sustainable growth
- Conduct market research and analysis – Using available research as available and at the same time being able to conduct primary research directly with the Customers, Consultants and partners via “Voice of Customer” sessions
- Develop and execute business plans for the allocated activity, market segment, products or partners
- Understand customers needs by working with internal teams and gathering of information from external sources including directly working customers and partners
- Drive the business plans with the regional segment, Enterprise, channel sales and marketing teams
- Diligently track results and progress of business plans
- Provide advice to local teams on the GTM strategies and new business development
- Product & Program Management
- Work with Line of Business (LoB) and Regional Product Managers
- Participate in and provide inputs for product development to meet the country needs
- Manage and provide necessary sales tools to partners
- Develop local programs to meet quarterly and annual business objectives
- Work with sales team, service team and offer & BD marketing team to execute the programs
- Business Reporting
- Work with Regional Business Development teams for timely submission of business development activities and progress report
- Work with local offer & BD marketing team and Sales team to drive marketing plans
- Design the marketing mix with marketing team so as to achieve the marketing objectives of the identified product portfolio
- Understand the competitive landscape and develop local strategies to beat competition
- Support marketing activities to drive key campaigns and product messaging to the identified market segment
- Sales & Marketing Support and Execution
- Support and execute country/regional sales and marketing events and activities

Qualifications
- At least 5 years working experience in the IT /Data center / Industrial Infrastructure industry, preferably related to Business Development
- 4 P’s of Marketing – Product, Promotion, Pricing and Place (Distribution and Go to Market)
- Thorough understanding of product positioning, pricing structure, product launch and transition and competitive analysis
- Strong Presentation skills especially with wider audience
- Should be able to show cases of having developed new Businesses developed individually (preferred) or with primary responsibility from scratch where the person was the Primary driver
- Excellent written and oral business communication skills in both Japanese and English
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Engineering or Science an advantage), M Tech / MBA (Marketing) preferred
