
Intermediate Systems Administrator (12 month fixed term employment)
Job Description
Role Summary
As a Systems Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting and optimizing IT operations within the company. In this key position, you'll utilize your extensive technical expertise to deliver exceptional end-user support, resolve complex IT issues, streamline processes, and participate in IT projects.
The goal is to support game development through maximising operation efficiency and removing technical roadblocks to allow our developers to focus on making the best game possible.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support and manage IT operations, ensuring efficient resolution of hardware, software, and network-related issues within established service-level agreements.
- Identify and address technical requirements, workflows, and technology-related challenges; propose and develop comprehensive solutions.
- Advocate for IT needs for both office-based and remote employees.
- Work with the People Team to ensure smooth technical onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Ensure appropriate equipment allocation and permissions management.
- Manage the procurement, tracking, and disposal of IT assets.
- Manage software licensing, procurement, cost analysis, and audits.
- Install, support, repair, and maintain advanced computer systems and servers.
- Monitor performance metrics and respond to service outages
- Participate in complex IT projects, ensuring accountability for milestones and deliverables.
Qualifications
Required
- Demonstrable experience within a Systems Administrator-level position, with a focus on technical aspects.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Systems, System Administration, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of advanced systems and networking software, hardware, and protocols.
- Exceptional technical problem-solving skills.
- Strong emphasis on thorough documentation practices.
- Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
- Ability to handle third-level responsibilities as needed.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Email Security: Checkpoint Harmony, Office 365 ATP
- Documentation: Confluence, SharePoint

Japanese Visa Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or 10 years of experience.
