Are you a master storyteller with a knack for digging up the best insights?
We're starting a brand-new educational YouTube format for a Japanese retail giant, and we need a talented Bilingual Content Writer/Researcher to be the driving force behind our episodes. You'll be the expert who crafts our narratives, uncovers the latest trends, and ensures our content is both engaging and rock-solid.

Responsibilities
Your Mission:
- Research & Write: Dive deep into product categories and market trends to write captivating scripts and talking points for our presenters.
- Create Content: Develop everything from video scripts to detailed comparison charts and infographics that make complex information easy to understand.
- Fact-Check Everything: Be our resident fact-checker, ensuring every claim and product specification is 100% accurate.
- Manage Products: Be the one to coordinate and manage product samples for review, handling all the logistics from acquisition to return.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep a close eye on industry news and consumer trends to keep our content fresh and relevant.
Employment Details:
This role can be structured as Freelance, Part-time, or Full-time. The position is based in our studio and office, but we're open to discussing a hybrid work model.
Qualifications
- Native Japanese speaker is a must.
- Fluent in business-level English.
- A proven track record of writing compelling content, especially for educational YouTube content.
- A self-starter who is highly organized and can manage the research and logistics of multiple projects.
- Someone with a genuine curiosity and passion for research.
