Job Description
Are you passionate about digital, educational content and looking to get your start in YouTube production? We're seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Junior Producer / Director's Assistant to support the creative leadership of our new content format for a Japanese retail giant.
This is an incredible opportunity to learn the ins and outs of video
production, from pre-production planning to on-set directing and final publishing.

Monthly salary range: 416,000 - 500,000 JPY

Responsibilities
Your Mission:
- Support the Director: Work directly with the Producer / Director to manage daily tasks, including scheduling, communication, and project coordination.
- Assist with Production: Help with all aspects of video creation, from preparing for shoots to assisting on set and organizing assets.
- Contribute to Strategy: Assist in developing the content strategy and managing the editorial calendar.
- Liaise with Teams: Act as a key point of contact between the Producer / Director and the research and content
teams. - Handle Logistics: Help with administrative tasks, budget tracking, and ensuring production deadlines are met.
- Learn & Grow: Gain hands-on experience in all areas of YouTube channel management and creative direction.
Employment Details:
This role can be structured as Part-time, or Full-time. The position is based in our studio and office, but we're open to discussing a hybrid work model.
Qualifications
- Fluent in both Japanese and English.
- A proactive and highly organized self-starter with a strong attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for YouTube and a desire to learn about digital content production.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Prior experience in a related field is a plus, but not required—we're looking for potential and a great attitude.
- Editing in Adobe or Davinci or fliming skills are a strong plus, but not required.
